I kept throwing ideas her way, one in particular was about a funny little farmer with his jolly animals, but it just never got past go. So one day I said Reb, how about we create a book about the Friesian horses that you love so much? Well... that did it. :) I immediately set out to write the story. I imagined it all in my mind watching it like a play unfold. I began putting it all in words searching for just the right words and making them flow. As I shared the words with Reb she began to bring my words to life. Everything I felt as I was writing she amazingly captured in her drawings and pictures. Together we wrote and illustrated each page of our book with passion and love.<br />We hope that everyone will enjoy Sipke's Son as much as we did creating it.
